Embodying the Light: An Intimate Six-Week Group by Phone
Perhaps you've glimpsed the truth of who you really are, but you keep losing sight of it and falling back into old reactive patterns and beliefs. This ongoing argument with reality feels out of alignment, out of integrity, and causes suffering not only for you, but for the people around you. How can you "work with" these patterns from the perspective of truth, from the empty, open, silent presence that you know yourself to be?
This intimate six-week group is designed for those who have had some glimpse of their undivided true nature and want to explore how to more fully embody the light of this realization in everyday life. Though awakening is instantaneous, embodying the truth is an ongoing discovery that often benefits from skillful guidance. There will be ample time for each participant to work closely with the issues and identifications that continue arising and that appear as "obstacles" to fuller embodiment. Compassionate awareness has extraordinary awakening and transformative power.
This group will be conducted by teleconference; you only need a phone to participate. If there's enough interest, this could become an ongoing group. For details, click here.
Tucson Satsangs and Intensives in 2012
After a holiday break, we've resumed our regular satsangs and intensives at Caritas Healing Center in Armory Park. Satsangs will take place on four Saturday mornings this winter/spring: January 28, February 11, March 24, and April 7. One-day intensives are scheduled for all day Saturday on March 3 and April 28. Each event features silent and guided meditation, talks that include direct pointers to our nondual spiritual nature, and ample time for dialogue. This is not a philosophical discussion group, it's a lively, experiential exploration of the truth that can't be known by the mind. Be prepared to be galvanized, disquieted, unnerved, and to leave knowing less than when you came. The point is not to accumulate more ideas and beliefs, but to awaken out of your belief system to the eternal silence beyond the mind. For more information, click here.
