With the growing popularity of satsang in the West, more and more people are waking up to the radiant emptiness of their essential spiritual nature. But few realize that awakening is often just the beginning of a prolonged and challenging journey of spiritual unfolding that may be fraught with pitfalls as well as promise.

In this workshop, spiritual teacher Stephan Bodian invites you to glimpse your true nature directly, right now, without arduous practice, and then leads you through the stages that generally follow: the “wake” of awakening, when the mind tends to obscure or co-opt your realization; the embodiment process, in which you learn to actualize your awakening in every area and dimension of your life; and the ongoing challenge of freeing the dark or frozen places in the psyche that awakening by itself may not reach.

Through guided meditations, self-inquiry, talks, dialogues, and dyadic exercises, you’ll learn how to navigate your way through the obstacles that may follow awakening and discover the peace, love, joy, and fulfillment that fully embodied awakening brings.

Stephan Bodian is a spiritual teacher, a  psychotherapist, a popular workshop leader, and the author of the book Wake Up Now: A Guide to the Journey of Spiritual Awakening (McGraw-Hill, 2008). He has been practicing and teaching the path of awakening for more than 35 years.
